Why preservation matters
A trading card can carry cultural, financial, and deeply personal meaning. NOSTALGI-Ai is building its workflow around careful custody and long-term protection so the pursuit of a grade does not overshadow the collectible itself.
Preservation principles in development
Purposeful handling
Every movement should have a documented reason. Handling procedures are being designed to reduce unnecessary contact and avoid preventable damage.
Clean working conditions
Work surfaces, tools, sleeves, and storage areas will follow defined cleanliness and inspection procedures before public submissions open.
Environmental awareness
Temperature, humidity, light exposure, static, and holding time are being considered in facility and workflow planning.
Material evaluation
Protective holders, labels, adhesives, sleeves, and packaging materials are still being evaluated for clarity, durability, security, and long-term compatibility.
Chain of custody
The planned workflow links the customer, submission, condition evidence, reviewer decision, and final record so the card’s identity remains connected throughout the process.
Clear customer guidance
Official packing, shipping, pickup, storage, and care instructions will be published before cards are accepted.
What remains under evaluation
- Final holder and encapsulation materials.

- Insurance, liability, and custody terms.

Our current commitment
We will not describe materials as archival, conservation-grade, or preservation-safe until the relevant design and testing support that language.
Public preservation and encapsulation services are not open. Final specifications and policies will be published before launch.
